Compact UI dialog desync, opens without the shortcut and broken controls

When using the double-finger long tap for the first time to show the tip, the Got it button does not close the dialog. It also doesn't actually enable the compact UI. Using ESC does close the dialog.

At that point it seems the dialog and actual settings are desynced, trying to use the shortcut again does enable compact UI and does not show the dialog.

When enabling compact UI in the settings the dialog shows up once the settings are closed. Disable compact UI again via the settings and the shortcut no longer works.

When toggling the compact UI on and off in the settings sheet (without closing it in between) the dialog appears upon closing the settings sheet even if compact UI is now off.
